Katherine Thomas Bio

Katherine Thomas, a graduate student at Franciscan University of Steubenville, was on site for The Center giving her first-hand account.

Katherine, a native of northern California, is studying for her M.A. degree in theology and catechetics.  She received her undergraduate degree in film and television from Boston University, where she was active at the Catholic Center.

In 2005, she spent six months in Sydney studying Australian film, culture, art, architecture and literature. Katherine also attended World Youth Day in 2005 in Cologne, Germany, and recently returned from a semester abroad in Rome.

She is thrilled to be joining the pilgrimage to World Youth Day this year and looks forward to sharing her experiences. Check regularly for her updates on the Holy Father's visit and other exciting activities in Sydney.
